Our flagship product, (Brand) "Newzlik", is a Digital Media Kit that empowers Independent Journalists and News Creators to launch their own professional News Portals & Apps.


    The Role: We are looking for a strategic Sales Leader to head the sales division for Newzlik. You will be responsible for building a team and onboarding News Publishers from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across India.


    Who is our Customer? (The Target): You will NOT be selling to random YouTubers. Your target audience includes:

    Independent News Reporters running YouTube Channels.

    Local Journalists (Stringers) looking for their own digital identity.

    Citizen Journalists covering local community news.

    Small Media Houses wanting to go digital.

  • Job Summary

    Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage a team of 5-10 Inside Sales Executives.

    Revenue Ownership: Achieve monthly sales targets for our Web & App subscriptions.

    Niche Selling: Understand the pain points of local reporters (like monetization, authority, identity) and pitch Newzlik as the ultimate solution.

    Pipeline Management: Handle high-value leads and close deals via calls/meetings.

  • Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s Degree: Graduate in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science, or Engineering). We value skills over degrees.

    Preference: Candidates with BBA / MBA in Marketing or Sales will be given preference, but it is not mandatory.

  • Experience Requirement

    Experience: 2-5 years in Inside Sales (Ed-Tech, SaaS, or Media Sales preferred).

    Leadership: Proven experience in managing a sales team.

    Communication: Excellent command over Hindi (Primary) and Professional English.

    Mindset: Someone who understands the power of Digital Media and Journalism.

    Tech: Must have a Laptop and a stable internet connection.

  • Preferred Qualifications

    Infrastructure: Must possess a working Laptop and a high-speed Broadband/WiFi connection (Mobile Hotspot candidates need not apply).

    Language Skills: Native-level fluency in Hindi is a must (as you will deal with local reporters). Functional English is required for internal reporting.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (for creating sales reports) and comfort with Video Conferencing tools (Zoom/Google Meet).

    Availability: Willingness to work 6 days a week in a high-growth startup environment.

    Notice Period: Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of less than 15 days are preferred.
